Below are this sample's 3 most abundant terpenoids by volume.

  1. β-Ocimene 0.2293%

A monoterpene with a fragrance that can be described as herbal, earthy, sweet with a hint of citrus. It is derived from members of the Ocimum genus, from which it lends its name. It was one of the first organic compounds to fully synthesized in a laboratory and plays a role in the endocannabinoid system as it is a functional CB2 receptor agonist. Found in black pepper, clove, hops, rosemary, black-jack, perilla, spicebush, Indian pennywort, celery, frankincense, vitex, parsley, marigold, tamarind...etc.

  3. Limonene 0.1887%
